Co-founder and Lead Consultant > Dr. Kemal Unaltuna

Dr. Kemal Ünaltuna is the co-founder and general manager of Intellica Business Intelligence Consultancy, a company committed to provide Business Intelligence and CRM solutions that deliver true business value to its customers.

During his doctoral studies at Syracuse University, Dr. Ünaltuna worked at Knowledge Based Technology Applications Center where he designed and developed several Neural Network and Expert System solutions for various industrial clients. He won the best doctoral thesis award with his work on Neural Networks. After graduation he worked at AT&T Bell Labs as a Data Mining Consultant and Project Manager for three years. Later he joined Yapi Kredi Bank where he lead a team of developers and analysts to create the bank’s Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and CRM environments from scratch.

At Intellica, he manages all aspects of end-to-end Business Intelligence projects and participates in consultancy, design, implementation and education activities. Dr. Ünaltuna is also a part-time lecturer at Marmara University’s MIS graduate program lecturing in Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems.

He has been a proven consultant and technical trainer in the software industry approximaty 15 years. Results oriented leader with the ability to profitably manage all aspects of the business.Experienced in wide variety of business intelligence projects, as well as relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase IQ, Db2 and Oracle for data warehousing. Main business focus area is financial.

Can Alhas had designed and managed the implementations of the CRM and business intelligence projects several banks and telecom companies.

Emre Örs is in charge of sales, alliances and business development at Intellica Business Intelligence Consultancy. He has studied electronics engineering at Istanbul Technical University and completed his Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. Since 1990, he has worked in various sales and marketing positions in several multinational IT companies, such as NCR Corp, Cisco Systems, EMC Computer Systems and Software AG, finally joining Intellica as Sales Director in 2006.

Emre Örs is also a professional yoga instructor, as well as having amateur sailing and Rescue Diver certificates.
